Today I am a guest blogger on the Association of Christian Fiction Writer's (ACFW) site. Head over to this link to read my thoughts on the value of the single and singleness in general.
I think I left a comment there :) If it didn't come through, I can't remember exactly all I wrote, but I did say I thought it was well written on your part with very insightful thoughts.
I imagine that is very true. It's always those who aren't the majority who tend to feel a little misplaced. I'm glad you read it to Tabby. I'm really glad I did not marry at 18...
I haven't been single since the late '90s but I am grateful for the time when I was. Life is too short to spend it with the wrong person. Being single is infinitely preferable to being in a bad relationship.

Thank you, Betty!
DeleteGreat post! I read it to Tabby as she is wanting to get married at 18. Bring a single mom also is very awkward at a church.

DeleteChecking it out. I wasn't very good at being single...I still have nightmares that I have to do online dating again. It was...an adventure, for sure!
ReplyDeleteLol! I have those same nightmares, Steph!

ReplyDeleteThat is so true. The loneliest place in the world is being with the wrong person.
